A Birds Bakery manager dismissed for taking cash payments against company policy has triggered heated debate among Derbyshire Live readers.
Megan Metcalf says she was sacked by the Derby-based company for gross misconduct because it was Birds’ policy not to accept cash for hygiene reasons during the Covid-19 pandemic.
