What Is the Clarity Act?
The Digital Asset Market Clarity Act is a proposed U.S. market structure law covering digital commodities, investment contracts, crypto trading platforms, token issuers, decentralized finance, custody, and market supervision.
The House passed H.R. 3633 on July 17, 2025, by 294 votes to 134. All voting Republicans and 78 Democrats supported the measure.
