The mobile app of Crypto.com, the online bitcoin trading platform, faced an outage on Sunday afternoon. Down Detector, a platform that tracks such outages based on users’ reports, showed a rising curve of reports of users reporting outages. There were many posts on social media about users’ reporting outages.

The outage was a result of the scheduled maintenance, something Crypto.com informed its users about in a post on X on February 13. Plus, Kris, the CEO of Crypto.com, had posted 2 hours before the maintenance was to start, informing that it is going to happen.
