Mphasis Share Price: Mphasis shares gain 0.04% as Sensex rises
Shares of MphasiS Ltd. traded 0.04 per cent up at Rs 2904.05 at 11:36AM (IST) on Wednesday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 653.81 points to 82288.62.
The stock had closed at Rs 2902.65 in the previous session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 3186.95 and 52-week low of Rs 2068.45, respectively. As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 11:36AM (IST) stood at 8346 shares with a turnover of Rs 2.43 crore.
At the prevailing price, shares of the company traded at 35.18 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 82.67 per share and 5.13 times its price-to-book value, exchange data showed.
A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future.
