The mystery surrounding the disappearance of the bosses of the cryptocurrency company Zondacrypto reveals the close ties between the cryptocurrency business and the world of crime and money laundering. The founder of Zondacrypto, Sylwester Suszek, is suspected to have been kidnapped in March 2022. His business partner, Marian Wszolek, has also recently gone missing. Four years later, Suszek’s successor, Przemyslaw Kral, has also vanished.

The mystery has once again come into the spotlight amid the surge in cryptocurrency asset values. On Monday (24/8/2026), Bitcoin was traded at around 77,200 US dollars. This increase marks the strongest since March 2023. Ether, XRP, and several other cryptocurrencies also experienced gains.
