X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, is preparing to expand features that let users view cryptocurrency information and trade digital assets on the platform.
Cointelegraph reported on Aug. 25 that X will soon add a crypto trading button.
Nikita Bier, X’s former head of product, wrote that he created a Cashtags feature that lets users add Solana and Ether charts directly to posts. A trading button is also set to be added soon.
The Cashtags feature shows cryptocurrency price charts directly in posts. For newly issued tokens, it also supports pasting a contract address to pull up related information.
