Wyoming passes crypto kiosk legislation

Wyoming has enacted new legislation regulating virtual currency kiosks, with Gov. Mark Gordon signing House Bill 75 into law on March 6, according to the National Law Review. The measure brings cryptocurrency kiosks under the state’s existing financial oversight by requiring operators to comply with the Wyoming Money Transmitters Act. The law broadly defines virtual currency kiosks to include any publicly accessible terminals that allow users to exchange digital assets for cash, bank credit or other cryptocurrencies.
