Admittedly, it’s been a tough year for crypto investors. Market bellwether Bitcoin (BTC +1.22%) is down nearly 10% year-to-date. Top altcoins Ethereum (ETH +2.57%) and XRP (XRP +3.60%) are down 20% and 30%, respectively.

But there have been some bright spots for the crypto market in 2026. A handful of names are actually up more than 100% for the year and continue to soar in value.
