Cryptocurrency has rapidly grown into a major industry and is increasingly intertwined with politics. While President Donald Trump has promoted crypto expansion and uptake, critics have highlighted crypto’s potential risks and harms.

New Data for Progress polling finds voters across parties are concerned about potential consumer losses, harms to the broader economy, and the industry’s growing political influence.
