President-elect Donald Trump hosted Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek at Mar-a-Lago to discuss policies impacting the cryptocurrency industry.
According to Marszalek, the meeting focused on Trump’s proposal to establish a national Bitcoin reserve and key crypto-related appointments within his administration.
The discussion occurred as Crypto.com dropped its lawsuit against the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The exchange initially filed the suit after receiving a Wells notice in October, but a spokesperson said the withdrawal reflects their intent to collaborate with Trump’s administration on creating a regulatory framework for the crypto industry.
