Trump Media Buys $105M in CRO After Crypto.com Treasury Plans
Last week, we reported how Trump Media Group (DJT) partnered with Crypto.com to create the world’s largest $CRO treasury. The developments in this story picked up at a fast pace, and now the two companies have already kick-started the treasury with a multi-million dollar acquisition of Cronos.
Trump Media acquired a total of $105 million in $CRO tokens, executed through a half-stock, half-cash deal with Crypto.com. The purchase includes 684.4 million CRO tokens, roughly 2% of the circulating supply, and marks the start of a broader strategy to embed CRO into the company’s digital platforms.
