The Irish Stock Exchange was founded in 1793, recognized by legislation in 1799, and went through a merger with the London Stock Exchange prior to the country’s independence. As Republic of Ireland, the country restored the stock exchange’s previous standing, until the Ireland Stock Exchange joined Euronext in 2018, then rebranded to Euronext Dublin.
