As more businesses explore crypto payments, the real question is no longer whether the technology works. It is whether businesses can benefit from it without taking on the complexity that traditionally comes with digital assets.
The conversation around crypto payments has moved on.
For several years, much of the industry focused on adoption. Would consumers use digital assets to pay? Would businesses accept them? Would crypto move beyond trading and investment into everyday commercial use?
Those questions still matter, but they are no longer the ones I hear most from brokers, fintech companies and internationally focused businesses. The more practical question is this: how can crypto payments be introduced without asking the business…
