Taller buildings are bringing affordable housing to Denver’s RiNo district — but not enough, advocates and city officials say
For now, it’s a high-rise island unto itself.
The 13-story Edit at River North apartment building at the southwest corner of 35th and Walnut streets isn’t quite done but people are invited to come in for hard-hat tours. The first residents are expected to move in sometime in July, said David Zucker, CEO of developer Zocalo Community Development.
“Leasing has been unbelievably active,” Zucker said. “As if a light switch were turned on about two months ago.”
