Irish fintech giant Stripe has acquired US-based crypto wallet provider Privy for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition comes as Stripe is increasingly focusing on boosting its cryptocurrency offerings.
Founded in 2021, Privy is a developer of embedded wallet infrastructure aimed at securing transactions and onboarding users to the blockchain without requiring external services.
