STOCK PRICE COMES DOWN: RETAIL PANICS, THE RICH GO SHOPPING

I wrote this piece after reading today’s forum posts — from “retailers running lintang pukang”, “shakeout”, “massive impairment”, “stuck at 0.527” to “gone case DNEX”. The mood really changed damn fast.  So, consider this a small reminder I wish I could send to fellow forumers:  Don’t let a few red candles suddenly rewrite your entire investment thesis. One thing I’ve learned from investing:

A stock price coming down is not automatically bad news.

Sometimes it means the business is getting worse.

Sometimes it means valuation was too high.

the market is simply giving you a cheaper price…
