A statue of former Sparks and USC star Lisa Leslie will be added to those of other Los Angeles sports legends outside Crypto.com Arena.

The statue of the Hall of Fame member, who was born in Gardena, will be unveiled at a Sept. 20 ceremony before the Sparks take on Portland, the team announced Thursday.

“To be cemented in Los Angeles, the city that raised me, I couldn’t be more proud to be a role model forever,” Leslie said in a statement. “God has blessed me and I have truly given my all to this sport and our community.
