SEC to Host Third Roundtable on Crypto Custody on April 25
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has announced the details for its upcoming third crypto custody roundtable, scheduled for April 25, 2025, at its headquarters in Washington D.C.
As per the announcement, this is under the SEC’s “Spring Sprint Toward Crypto Clarity” campaign to provide more guidance on the regulation of digital assets. The third session in the series of events is called “Know Your Custodian: Key Considerations for Crypto Custody.”
SEC Commissioner Hester M. Peirce, who chairs the Crypto Task Force, stressed that custody issues should be discussed, as they are among the most significant as cryptocurrencies are gradually becoming part of the financial system.
