SanDisk’s Optimistic Outlook Boosts Asian Memory Stocks as Kioxia Jumps Over 8%, SK Hynix Rises Over 6%

TradingKey – During the Asian trading session on August 14, boosted by long-term growth targets disclosed at SanDisk’s (SNDK) Investor Day, shares of Asian memory chipmakers rose across the board.

As of press time, in Tokyo trading, SanDisk partner Kioxia Holdings rose 3.42%, after surging over 8% earlier; SoftBank Group gained 4.14%, and Advantest added 3.2%. In Seoul trading, SK Hynix rose 3.2%, after rising over 6% in early trading; Samsung Electronics gained 0.75%.

Driven by chip stocks, the Nikkei 225 Index rose 0.8%, while South Korea’s KOSPI Index gained 1.43%, marking its fourth consecutive trading day of gains.
