- Revolut has today begun a phased rollout of its first stablecoin, euro-backed EURR, to selected eligible customers in Denmark, Poland, and Portugal, with wider availability in other EEA markets expected later this year
- EURR is issued by Bridge, a Stripe company, and will be fully-integrated into the retail app, giving eligible customers a euro-denominated on-chain asset
- This is the first step in Revolut’s broader stablecoin strategy as it becomes a bridge between fiat and crypto – with additional currency-denominated stablecoins being developed through separate regulatory pathways
