Providers told to be strategic about AN-ACC changes
Aged care number crunchers have mixed feelings on the new Australian National Aged Care Classification base price of $294.64 per resident per day announced by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing on Friday afternoon.
Coming into effect on 1 October 2025, the new base price signifies a $12.18 boost from the current $282.44.
Also rising, the hotelling supplement will go from $15.60 to $22.15 per resident per day on 20 September 2025, which is $1.45 shy of the $8.00 increase Grant Corderoy suggested to Australian Ageing Agenda was needed in July.
