A majority of Americans say President Donald Trump and his family crossed an ethical line by profiting from cryptocurrency since he returned to the White House. That’s the headline finding from a new Reuters/Ipsos poll that lands as Congress debates whether to restrict the president’s crypto ventures by law.

The survey found 63 percent of respondents considered it inappropriate for the Trump family to have profited from crypto the way they have, while 32 percent called it appropriate.
