Peterboroughs Covid-19 case numbers fell by almost 40 per cent in the latest government data, which gave the city a rolling infection rate of 14.3 cases per 100,000 people.
In the most recent data, which covered the seven days to May 31, Peterborough had 29 cases – a reduction of 19, or 39 per cent, from the previous period.
However, the situation in Peterborough was not reflected across Cambridgeshire.
