Garanti BBVA Crypto Asset Trading Platform, a subsidiary of the Garanti BBVA Group, has announced a leadership change with Korcan Abalı stepping down as CEO and Onur Güven set to take over the role.
Güven brings extensive experience in financial technology and digital assets, having held senior positions at several prominent companies. His career began in 2002 as a business intelligence consultant for leading telecommunications firms and banks. Between 2007 and 2015, he played key roles in business intelligence, data, and product management at Turkcell, where he also co-founded Paycell. At Paycell, he served as Deputy General Manager before being promoted to CEO in 2015.
