Nubank said on Friday (the 6th) that it had temporarily halted cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals on its platform. According to the institution, the move was prompted by a failure at an external data provider, whose name was not disclosed.

In a notice displayed in its app, the digital bank said that “cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals are temporarily unavailable” and that the company “is working to restore this feature as quickly as possible.” The company maintains that the problem is unrelated to its own infrastructure and does not compromise customer security, adding that all assets and information remain protected.
