Neil Woodford to launch investment strategy platform
Neil Woodford has furthered his venture back into financial services by announcing the launch of W4.0 — an investment strategy platform.
A year ago, the former ‘star’ fund manager re-emerged with a weekly economics newsletter after a period out of the spotlight following the demise of the Woodford Equity Income fund.
Last year, the FCA announced it would take action against Woodford and his firm Woodford Investment Management for their role in the closure of the fund, which led investors to suffer losses and remain trapped in the fund. The outcome of the investigation is yet to be announced.
