My disinterest in investments as an investment specialist
When we write our pieces, we have a reasonable idea of how popular they will be. The list of the most popular articles on Morningstar.com.au is predictably filled with pieces on shares. Given our audience, this makes a lot of sense. We have self-directed investors that are largely invested in equities – and are hobbyists. We are an equity research house, and our readers enjoy the ‘art’ of investing. We enjoy providing in-depth analysis on companies. They enjoy picking the winners and investing towards their financial goals.
