He joins GE from Merck & Co., Inc. where he served most recently as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. He joined Merck in 2012 as Executive Vice President and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer. At Merck, Holston provided leadership to global legal affairs for the Company, global safety and the environment, and global security and aviation functions as well as public policy, communications and ethics and compliance. Before joining Merck, Holston served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Board Secretary of Hewlett-Packard Company from 2007 to 2012.
