Someone climbed up the Hollywood sign Saturday and began waving a flag for a cryptocurrency called Vigilante Token. The person was arrested by Los Angeles police.

The authorities received a report of someone standing on top of the sign about 2:54 p.m. The flag they waved displayed the name “Vigilante,” along with a website address, an X (formerly Twitter) handle, and what appeared to be the company’s logo.

Dressed in dark clothing, including a ski mask and a camouflage vest, the person’s identity was fully concealed.
