So five councils Manchester, Newcastle, Northumberland, Durham and North Tyneside have banned smoking outside pubs, cafés and restaurants. I guess I wont be going north in a hurry. More worrying for me is the news that Oxfordshire is hoping to become the first smoke-free county.
Will it mean you have to cross the border to buy a packet of fags? I thought Covid-19 might have distracted the health Nazis from their eternal war against smokers, but evidently not. Of course, smokers dont get Covid-19,…
