LETTER: Crypto investments questioned

Van Abbott’s description (Empire 6 June) of Nick Begich III as Trump’s crypto salesman rings true. In fact, Begich III has reported significant investments in cryptocurrency of $500,000 to $1 million. A good way to see crypto value go up is to promote it. In plain language, promoting cryptocurrency as a U.S. Representative smells like corruption.
