HDFC Bank shares rise over 1% after Q4 update: Gross advances up 5% YoY, deposits jump 14%
HDFC Bank shares rose 1.5% to a high of Rs 1,822 on the NSE on Friday after the lender reported a 5.4% year-on-year (YoY) growth in gross advances for Q4FY25, reaching Rs 26.43 lakh crore, up from Rs 25.08 lakh crore a year earlier.
The deposits at the end of Q4FY25 stood at Rs 27,14,500 crore, witnessing a 14.1% jump over Rs 23,79,800 crore reported in Q4FY24.
On a sequential basis, the gross advances were up by 4% against Rs 25,42,600 crore reported in Q3FY25. The deposits in the said period witnessed a 5.9% uptick over Rs 25,63,800 crore reported in the October-December quarter.
