GSTechnologies fails to secure crypto-asset authorisation

GSTechnologies Ltd – Perth, Australia-based fintech company – says GS Fintech UAB has not obtained crypto-asset service provider authorisation by the end of the transitional period, under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation. The transitional period expires on Wednesday. The company had submitted a MiCA licence application to the Bank of Lithuania in September.

GSTechnologies says it plans to resubmit its application to the Bank of Lithuania in the first quarter of 2026. To avoid trading disruption, GS Fintech UAB’s platform will transition to operations under VASP-registered Finferno Spolka Z Ograniczona Odpowiedzialnoscia in Poland.
