French banking group Credit Mutuel Arkea SA has confirmed that a cyberattack enabled fraudulent transactions after U.S. blockchain investigator ZachXBT linked the institution to the theft of more than $133 million in cryptocurrency, Cyber Security News reported. Zach initially described the victim as an unnamed European institution and said the total loss could be higher once it accounts for additional over-the-counter trades.
