Less than two weeks after leaving office, former Mayor Eric Adams was already back in the public eye Monday, taking a break from his international travel to appear at a news conference in Times Square to promote a new cryptocurrency venture.

“Oh, I missed you guys,” he told the assembled reporters.

Saying that “cryptocurrency, blockchain, is no longer on the fringe,” Adams announced a new digital coin he says will aid in the fight against antisemitism.
