The European Union’s MiCA transition period ends on July 1. After  date, any crypto asset service provider without a valid MiCA license must stop serving EU clients entirely.

The deadline is creating immediate pressure on smaller firms. Polish crypto exchange Ari10 secured a MiCA license in the Netherlands in February. Founder Mateusz Kara said that, to his knowledge, his group is the only one among roughly 2,000 registered Virtual Asset Service Providers in Poland that currently holds a MiCA license.
