ESG investing—what it is and how it can help investors make a positive impact on the world

Investors consider a number of different factors when evaluating different investment opportunities. This might include the level of risk associated with a particular asset, potential returns, or the costs and fees involved. However, many investors are now adding sustainability as a requirement before putting their money into any one asset. 

According to 2024 Morgan Stanley data, 77% of global investors are interested in sustainable investing, with 57% of those reporting increased interest since 2022. One report by MorningStar found that global sustainable funds attracted 4.3 billion in investments in the second quarter of 2024.
