Japan’s Financial Services Agency (FSA) revised its Q&A guidelines for financial‑instruments business on August 27. It explicitly states that selling overseas‑listed leveraged ETFs tracking Japanese individual stocks within Japan is “inappropriate from a public‑interest perspective”.
