Dryden Town Board extends crypto mining moratorium to March

DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) — Dryden Town Supervisor Jason Leifer tells 607 News Now an 18-month moratorium on cryptocurrency mining and data centers will get additional time.

Leifer says the extension allows the town board more time to make potential changes to zoning.

The town’s current ban on cryptocurrency mining and data centers was set to expire in February.
