Do Kwon extradited to the U.S. following crypto fraud allegations
1st January 2025 – (Podgorica) Montenegro has extradited South Korean cryptocurrency expert Do Kwon to the United States, where he is sought in connection with his firm’s multi-billion-dollar bankruptcy, officials announced on December 31. The Montenegrin interior ministry confirmed that Kwon was “handed over to the competent law enforcement authorities of the United States and agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).”
