If you missed the blockbuster 60-minute presentation last week, Nintendo Switch 2 is just a few weeks away. The follow-up to the third biggest-selling games console of all-time will land with a larger 7.9″ touchscreen display with a higher resolution and variable refresh rate, detachable Joy-Con controllers that snap to the side of the console via magnets, an optional camera accessory for video calls with friends in-game, and more.
Nintendo confirmed that some of the most popular titles for the original Switch will receive paid upgrades for the Switch 2, including support for 4K Ultra HD resolution, HDR picture quality, mouse-like functionality with the new Joy-Con 2 controllers, and new modes.
