Ethereum (ETH-USD) opened at $2,446.67 on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, up 1.7% from Tuesday’s opening price. The price of ethereum moved up this morning to $2,459.92 as of 7:21 a.m. ET.

Prices for both bitcoin and ethereum opened largely in line with their opening-price pattern over the last week and a half. While that means crypto prices haven’t moved all that much in that time, the J.P.Morgan Asset Management team believes better price performance is ahead:
