Cryptocurrency-linked shares continued their advance on Friday as Bitcoin (COIN:BTCUSD) climbed to its highest levels since late May, supported by renewed optimism over US digital asset regulation and improving appetite for risk.
The latest gains followed President Donald Trump’s call for lawmakers to establish clearer rules for the cryptocurrency industry, adding regulatory momentum to a market already benefiting from Bitcoin’s sharp recovery.
By 05:11 ET (09:11 GMT) in US pre-market trading, Strategy (NASDAQ:MSTR) surged 10.2%, Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN) gained 6.8% and Circle Internet Group (NYSE:CRCL) advanced 6.4%.
