Crypto should be 10-40% of every portfolio
Forget 1% or 2%.
Ric Edelman says cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum should now comprise at least 10% and as much as 40% of investors’ portfolios, depending on their time horizon, risk tolerance and personal opinions on the asset class.
In a new whitepaper, the retired executive of $287bn mega-RIA Edelman Financial Engines proclaimed the ‘correct’ crypto allocation is 10% for conservative investors, 25% for moderate investors and a whopping 40% for aggressive investors. He called for advisors to implement such allocations in client portfolios.
