Ethereum (ETH-USD) opened at $2,709.90 on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, down 0.6% compared to Monday’s opening price. The price of ethereum edged higher this morning to $2,716.07 as of 7:27 a.m. ET.

Bitcoin and ethereum prices opened lower compared to yesterday, but are moving back up this morning to the multi-month highs we observed about two weeks ago. Besides two weeks ago, these are the highest prices seen since January.
