The ongoing Middle East conflict has taken another sharp turn, with US President Donald Trump now indicating that a deal with Iran could still be on the cards. 

In a series of responses to White House reporters, Trump indicated that he doesn’t want to get involved in the Israel-Iran conflict, especially if the latter agrees to shut down its nuclear weapons program. 

In another bombshell revelation, Trump claimed that Iranian representatives are seeking a meeting with him at the White House, a proposal he may be open to. Now, The New York Times reports that a senior Iranian government official has confirmed their willingness to meet Trump at the White House.
