Crypto Markets Consolidate After Rally As Institutional Inflows Surge
The cryptocurrency market entered a phase of consolidation during the week of July 21-July 25, as Bitcoin and Ethereum held steady following early-month gains, while altcoins posted mixed performances. Record institutional inflows and growing regulatory clarity helped sustain investor confidence despite profit-taking pressures.
Bitcoin ended the week down about 2.2%, closing around US$118,300, after struggling to maintain momentum above the key US$120,000 resistance level. Ethereum, however, outperformed it by climbing roughly 1.4% to end the week near US$3,780, buoyed by strong ETF inflows.
