The global cryptocurrency market capitalisation rose to US$3.4 trillion, up 1.10% over the past 24 hours, buoyed by moderate gains in Bitcoin (BTC) and select altcoins. Market trading volume reached US$105.92 billion during the same period, with BTC retaining dominance at 63.3%, followed by Ethereum (ETH) at 9%.
Bitcoin remained the anchor of the market, edging up 0.72% in 24 hours to trade at US$108,586.46. Its market capitalisation stood at a hefty US$2.16 trillion, bolstered by sustained investor confidence and high daily turnover of US$48.5 billion. Ethereum also registered modest gains, climbing 0.43% to US$2,541.95 with a market cap of US$306.88 billion.
