The operator of crypto exchange Kraken said it gained access to Anthropic PBC’s Mythos artificial intelligence model, giving the hack-plagued digital-asset industry a new defensive tool whose cyber capabilities are considered too risky for unrestricted use.

Payward Inc. plans to use Mythos to scan its software for security vulnerabilities, the Wyoming-based company said on Monday. The firm says it is among the earliest crypto companies to gain direct access to Mythos, a model Anthropic has said is so powerful that the AI startup hasn’t released it publicly.
