Crypto.com to sponsor golf exhibition match between PGA Tour, LIV Golf stars
Crypto.com is coming on board to title sponsor the golf competition next month between Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau. The “Crypto.com Showdown” will air on TNT at 6pm ET on Dec. 17, with the match being held at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas. SBJ previously reported that organizers were seeking between $8-10M for the deal.
BZ Entertainment and EverWonder Studio, which has backing from RedBird IMI, worked on creating the event. A representative said Crypto.com did not use an agency and negotiated directly with EverWonder and its top executive, Ian Orefice.
